Next, we’ll continue our journey to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned as a filming location for many international directors and filmmakers. This ancient kasbah, once a crucial fortress on the old Salt Road, was a vital trading post where caravans transported gold, slaves, ivory, and salt between distant lands and Moroccan cities. Our Marrakech desert tour then takes us to the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its numerous film studios. As we travel southeast towards the Thousand Kasbahs, the landscape transforms, passing through Berber villages and towns on our way to the Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night.

After breakfast, we’ll depart from the Dades Valley and continue our 7 Days From Marrakech to Casablnca, heading toward the Todra Gorge along the Dades Valley. This stunning canyon is a favorite among international rock climbers due to its impressive landscapes. You’ll have the chance to stroll through the oasis and admire the breathtaking views of the deep crevasse in the orange limestone.

Next, we’ll journey south toward the Sahara, passing through beautiful oases, palm groves, scenic landscapes, ancient ruins, adobe kasbahs, and even dinosaur fossils. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch.

We’ll then continue to Erfoud, a city famous for its fossil-rich history, where remnants of the ancient ocean are found in the area. The fossils and minerals here are crafted into beautiful pieces of furniture and decorative items. Our day’s final destination is the vast sea of sand, where your camel will be waiting in the Erg Chebbi dunes to take you to your desert camp. As you ride across the towering golden dunes of the Moroccan Sahara, you’ll have the opportunity to watch the sunset and try sandboarding. The starry night sky will leave you in awe, and after a delicious dinner, you’ll be entertained by traditional local music.

We’ll then continue our drive through the highest peaks of the Rif Mountains, passing lush agricultural hills on our way to Chefchaouen. Famous for its blue-painted houses, Chefchaouen is a popular destination for both tourists and locals, especially during the hot summer months. By evening, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, where we’ll take a leisurely walk through the medina, admiring the white and blue-washed walls and exploring the local markets that offer unique handicrafts.
