Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Upon arrival at Tangier Ferry or Tangier Airport, you will be transferred to the Medina of Chefchaouen, the famous Blue Town. If you arrive early, we can explore Tangier, visiting sites such as the Medina, the Hercules Cave, and Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic and Mediterranean Oceans meet. Afterward, we’ll drive to Chefchaouen. If you arrive late, we will spend the night in Tangier, and the Marrakech Private desert tour will begin the following day.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis -Meknes – Fes
Today, we will pick you up from your Riad in Chefchaouen and begin our drive towards Volubilis, passing through Wazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, you will explore the Roman ruins and learn about the rich archaeological history of Morocco. After visiting the ruins, we will head to Meknes, a 17th-century heritage site. Here, you will have time for lunch and a stroll around Medina and Bab El Mansour. Afterward, we will drive to Fes, where you will spend the night. Overnight stay in Fes Medina, including bed and breakfast.
Day 3: Full day in Fes
On the third day of your 9 Days Morocco itinerary you will begin your exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, wandering through its narrow alleys and streets. Your visit will start with a tour of the Royal Palace gate, followed by a walk through the Jewish Quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, dating back to the 16th century. We will ensure you visit all the key cultural and historical sites, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Mausoleum of Mulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit a tile cooperative and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Middle Atlas Mountains – Erg Chebbi
Today, you will begin your Luxury Sahara desert trip to Merzouga, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud via the scenic Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, enjoying views of the High Atlas plateau. As you approach Errachidia, the landscape begins to shift, hinting at the desert’s vastness. Here, you’ll have lunch and experience the warmth of Berber hospitality.
Continuing along the lush Ziz Valley, you will make stops for panoramic views on your way to Erfoud and Rissani. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will be greeted with a refreshing glass of mint tea. From there, you’ll go on a camel ride into the desert to spend a magical night at a desert camp, where you can enjoy traditional Berber music and cuisine.
Day 5: Erg Chebbi – Todra Valley – Boumalne
The fifth day of your Marrakech desert tour begins with waking up early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before returning to the hotel on camelback for breakfast and a refreshing shower. We will then drive through the Saghro Mountains, stopping for a short walk through the Todra Gorge. In the evening, we will arrive at the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 6: Full Day Trekking in The Valley Of the Human Bodies Dades
After a traditional breakfast, you will continue your 9 Days tour from Tangier via Desert tour through the Dades Valley, taking in some of the most stunning scenic views while experiencing the Berber way of life. Following your trek, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, your guide will lead you to the Dades Gorges, where you’ll explore one of the most beautiful canyons in the Atlas Mountains. Day 7 : Boumalne – Rose Valley – Skoura – Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’Gouna and Ouarzazate, following the route known as “The Thousand Kasbahs.” This scenic drive offers plenty of opportunities to capture stunning photographs, particularly in the Rose Valley and in Ouarzazate, which is renowned for being the backdrop for numerous films. We will visit one of the standout kasbahs in the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, Ameridile. Afterward, we will head back across the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
Day 8 : Full day in Marrakech
After breakfast, you will go on a full-day tour to explore the city of Marrakech. Enjoy the Red City as you visit some of its most iconic landmarks. During your tour, you’ll enjoy lunch in the Medina and discover beautiful sites such as the 19th-century Bahia Palace, the 16th-century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Garden. You’ll also have the chance to explore the famous souks, where merchants sell everything from leather goods and textiles to spices and kaftans.
Day 9 : The airport
