Day 1: Fes
On the first day of our Luxury Sahara desert trip, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, there may be an opportunity for an initial exploration of the city.
Day 2: Full day in Fes
The second day of our Sahara desert from fes A full day dedicated to exploring the most intellectual city in the kingdom. You will have the chance to visit numerous historical landmarks, including the Medersas (Koranic schools) such as Chahrij, Bouinania, and Attarin. Explore the souks, Fes El-Jedid, and the iconic Karaouine Mosque, home to the world’s first university.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga
We will begin the third day of our Fes Sahara desert itinerary, heading towards Merzouga via Ifrane. We will pass through the Cedar Forest, the Ziz Valley, and Tafilalte. In the afternoon, we will reach the Merzouga desert camp, where you will go on a camel ride to spend the night in a nomadic tent.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
You are now in the heart of the desert, immersed in the magic of the dunes. After watching the stunning sunrise, we will return to the hotel on camels. Then, we’ll take a 4×4 to explore the area, starting with Dayet Srji Lake, home to many flamingos. Next, we’ll visit a Gnawa or Bambara family, descendants of slaves from Black Africa, who will share their traditional music with us. We’ll continue our Morocco desert luxury tour into the dunes, crossing the famous Paris-Dakar route, and meet semi-nomadic families living in this vast sea of sand and stone—an unforgettable adventure.In the afternoon, we will return to the hotel for the night.
Day 5: Merzouga – Middle Atlas – Fes
After breakfast, we will depart for Fes, passing through Rissani, the former economic capital of Morocco. We will continue towards the Ziz Valley, enjoying panoramic views of Tafilalet, palm groves, and gorges. Next, we will reach Azrou, where we will admire the beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Cedar Forest, with a stop to see the free-roaming monkeys. We will then drive through Ifrane, often referred to as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” before arriving in Fes in the afternoon. This marks the second-to-last day of our 6 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
Day 6: Fes – Airport
