On the first day of our Luxury Sahara desert trip Arrive at Marrakech airport, where our guide will greet you and escort you to your accommodation located near Jemaa el Fna Square.

We will begin our Marrakech Private desert tour, driving on the highway to Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the tallest mosque in the world. Then, we will continue our journey to Rabat, where we will explore key highlights such as the Kasbah of Oudayas, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower.

We will begin the third day of our 11 Days Morocco itinerary, heading northwest toward the city of Chefchaouen. After breakfast in the morning, we will go on the fourth day of our Luxury Sahara desert trip, traveling from Marrakech to Fes. We will arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Hotel Palais Houyam or a similar hotel.

On the fifth day of our Private Marrakech desert trip your local guide in Fes will meet you at your accommodation to begin a guided tour. Fes has preserved its traditions, crafts, trades, and is home to one of the oldest universities in the world. Known as “the city of Faith and Knowledge,” Fes was once the cultural capital and a major religious hub of Morocco. We will also visit the Royal Palace and the Jewish Quarter.

We will begin the sixth day of our Morocco desert luxury tour, heading south. Along the way, we will encounter a series of wonders, including Ifrane, often referred to as the “Moroccan Switzerland,” the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to its curious inhabitants, the volcanic region of Azrou, and the stunning rocky valley of the Ziz River, along with its vast palm grove. We will then continue our journey to Merzouga, where we will spend the night at a riad or hotel.

After breakfast, we will explore the surroundings of Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. We will visit villages like Khamlia, home to descendants of former sub-Saharan African slaves, who have preserved their traditions through the spiritual Gnawa music, which we will also experience. We will continue to visit more Berber villages and witness their rich traditions. Later, we will go on a camel ride to reach the desert camp, where we will enjoy a traditional dinner, listen to Berber music, and spend the night in luxury tents with private bathrooms. Accommodation will be at the Desert Camp, marking the end of our seventh day of the Marrakech Private desert tour.

After breakfast, we will ride the dromedaries back to the SUV to continue our 11 Days Morocco itinerary. Our first stop will be in Rissani, where we will visit a fascinating local market that serves over 600 towns surrounding the desert. From there, we will head to Tinerghir to explore one of the most stunning geological formations in the Middle Atlas. We will then visit the picturesque Dades Valley, known for its beauty.

We will continue our 11 Days From Marrakech along the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs towards Ouarzazate. Known for its renowned film studios, this city marks the beginning of our journey along the Ounila River. Here, we will visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, whose historical significance makes it a must-see destination in the Atlas region. Continuing through the Ounila Valley, we will visit the Kasbah Taoulet, another beautiful and historic site, before making our way to Marrakech.

After breakfast, our certified local guide will meet you at our accommodation and take you on a Marrakech Private desert tour, famously known as the “Red City.” During the tour, we will explore iconic sites such as the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque minaret, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace, among others.
