Day 1: Casablanca
On the first day of your Private Marrakech desert trip, we will pick you up early from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, located on a promontory along the city’s west coast, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. After some free time for lunch, we will continue exploring the city, including a visit to the beautiful Casablanca Corniche.
Day 2: Casablanca – The capital – Chefchaouen
We drive along the coastline to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the country’s imperial cities, located in the northwest. Feel free to feed the monkeys while you explore the forest. We then continue to Midelt for a break and free time for lunch.
Afterward, we drive to Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops to enjoy panoramic views. In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels and begin your trek across the golden dunes. A stop at a high dune allows you to take in the breathtaking sunset before continuing to the desert camp.
