Day 1: Casablanca
We will pick you up from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, situated on a promontory with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
After some free time for lunch, we’ll continue our Marrakech Private desert tour to explore the city, including a visit to the beautiful Casablanca Corniche.
Day 2: Casablanca – the Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
We depart from Casablanca to explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional preservation that on the second day of our 5 Days Morocco itinerary. The site features stunning mosaics, ancient pillars, and impressive archways.
After touring the ruins, we drive 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, we’ll visit the iconic Bab Al-Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Afterward, we continue our journey to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga
Continuing our Luxury Sahara desert trip we head south through Imouzzer to reach Ifrane, a city known for its cool temperatures, snowfall, and alpine-style architecture—earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.”
We then drive to Midelt, where you’ll have free time for lunch. Afterward, we make our way to Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops to enjoy panoramic views.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels for a ride across the dunes. We’ll stop atop a high dune to witness the breathtaking sunset before continuing to the desert camp. The camp blends traditional nomadic tents with the comfort of luxury accommodations. Enjoy Berber drum music and dance around the campfire under a star-filled sky.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinghir – Boumalne
Waking up early is essential to witness the stunning sunrise over the desert. After enjoying the sunrise, you’ll have free time for breakfast before returning on camels to Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting.
We then depart the desert and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet and still an important trading hub in the region. After exploring the bustling Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud, where we’ll visit a workshop specializing in fossilized marble.
Next, we drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, heading toward the breathtaking Todra Gorges. Carved by the Todra River, these striking red cliff-sided canyons are a haven for rock climbers. Take time to wander through the gorges and enjoy the stunning landscape. After some free time for lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our 5 Day from Casablanca To Marrakech to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades.
We’ll make stops to admire the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and enjoy a panoramic view of the Dades Valley. Finally, we’ll head to a hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 : Boumalne – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
We continue our Marrakech desert tour to Kalaa Magouna to explore the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival held in May, where locals showcase a variety of rose-based products. From there, we drive through the palm groves of Skoura on our way to Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the film studios that have hosted many famous movies.
Next, we head to the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic kasbah has appeared in numerous films.
Afterward, we make our way to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and photo opportunities at scenic spots.
