4 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
We will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or harbor and begin our 4 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech, traveling through the beautiful Rif Mountains, passing by Tetouan, and heading to the blue city of Chefchaouen.
Here, you’ll have free time to explore this charming town, walking through its narrow streets painted in shades of blue and white, perfect for capturing beautiful photos. You can visit the old medina and Ras el Ma, where the fresh mountain waterfall flows into the town.
In the afternoon, after your visit, we’ll continue our Tangier Sahara desert itinerary to Fes, taking in the breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains and the lush landscapes of northern Morocco. We will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, where you will stay overnight at a beautifully decorated hotel or riad.
Day 2 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel, our driver from Sahara Camel Trips will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. from your hotel in Fes to begin your 4 Days Morocco itinerary to Merzouga, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages and make a stop in the picturesque city of Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland.” We’ll continue to Azrou, famous for its cedar forest, where you can see monkeys, then head to Midelt for a lunch break.
Afterward, we’ll drive south to Erfoud, known for its fossils and annual dates festival, passing through the beautiful Ziz Valley, where we’ll pause to admire a stunning panoramic view of the oasis.
In the afternoon, we’ll reach the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, you’ll go on a camel trek, taking about 1 to 1.5 hours, with a stop on top of the dunes to watch the sunset. You can also try sandboarding, if you wish, and take photos of the stunning scenery. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll continue to our Berber Camp in Merzouga.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea and have time to relax until dinner. After enjoying a traditional Berber meal, there will be a performance of Berber drumming music. Relax under the starry sky and spend the night in a nomadic tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Boumalne
Today, as you’re already in the desert, it’s worth waking up early to witness the sunrise near the camp. After enjoying these peaceful moments, you’ll have breakfast and take a shower at the camp. You can then either ride the camels or take a 4WD back to the original starting point, where you’ll meet your driver.
Your 4 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech will continue with a visit to the weekly market in Rissani, if it’s one of the market days (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). We’ll pass through small Berber villages such as Touroug, Tinjdad, and Tinghir, where we’ll stop to admire the beautiful Todra Valley, filled with palm trees and lush vegetation.
Next, we’ll head to Todra Gorge, located at the base of the High Atlas Mountains and a famous spot for rock climbers. Afterward, we’ll take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Boumalne Dades, and by evening, we’ll arrive in Dades Valley.
Day 4 : Boumalne – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben haddou – High atlas – Marrakech
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our Morocco desert luxury tour continues towards Marrakech, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura Palm Grove. We’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirte and the film studios in Ouarzazate (optional).
Next, we’ll drive to Ait Benhaddou, where we’ll explore its famous and ancient kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. This spectacular location has served as the backdrop for several famous films.
We’ll continue our 4 Days Morocco itinerary, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’tichka pass, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2,260 meters above sea level. It offers breathtaking views of valleys, mountains, and nearby Berber villages. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or evening, where we will transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of your 4 Days Tour From Tangier to Marrakech.
